University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Carol Davila” Bucharest, Romania

University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" is one of the oldest medical schools in Romania and consists of four separate entities: Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy and the recently established faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Medical Assistants — with the 24 academic departments as functional units. The great number of research centers (19 listed in the SER) including a center of excellence, all highlight the importance of research at Carol Davila and the leadership has made a priority to involve more students in research. Inside the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" there is a climate and a culture centered on research, proven achievements in the field: session scientific conferences, seminars and symposia, many published papers, articles and publications, materialized in more than 100 grants, nearly 200 books, over 300 articles, papers published in the proceedings of scientific works supported conferences, symposia, seminars in the country and / or abroad.

Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden

Karolinska Institutet (KI) which was founded in 1810 is a medical university in Stockholm, Sweden. KI consistently ranks among the top universities in the world on a number of prestigious ranking tables, and Karolinska Institutet is currently ranked among the top 10 medical universities in world. About 6000 students are enrolled in different educational programs at KI, and around 2000 PhD students are registered.  A committee of the institute appoints the laureates for the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet is a body at KI that awards the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. The Nobel Assembly consists of fifty professors from various medical disciplines at the Karolinska Instiutet. KI is like any other university dependent upon collaboration with other universities worldwide both regarding education and research, which is why a global health fund within KI has been created.

European Dental Hygienists Federation, Stockholm, Sweden

The European Dental Hygienist Federation, EDHF, is a non-political, non- profit federation, organizing Dental Hygienist associations in Europe. The federation today consists of sixteen associations and was founded in 1999. EDHF represent 18 000 of the approximately 35 000 Dental Hygienists in Europe.  The federation grows and welcomes new members every year.  EDHF have annual meeting and is governed by a board elected at member meetings according to the EDHF statutes registered in 2002.  A dental hygienist is a health professional who, through prevention, clinical services, education, consultative planning and evaluation, seeks to prevent oral disease, provides treatment for existing disease, and assists people in maintaining an optimum level of oral health. Dental hygienists are health professionals whose primary concern is the promotion of total health through prevention. The Dental Hygienist has an important and growing role in the dental team and in public health service.

TES, Bucharest, Romania

TES - The Youth for Education and Society Association is a non-profit organization, apolitical, founded in 2010 in Bucharest by a group of young people with initiative, with the purpose of promoting education, culture and civic values within the young demographic.
Youth for Education and Society is a concept that is based on volunteering and aims to:
Intensify the dialogue between the young demographic and the decisional institutional factors, but also harmonize the official educational system with the market requirements and encourage public and private partnership ideas that would benefit the education for the young generation.
Promote European, national and state values, encourage active citizenship and support national identity among the young generations.
Promote and support non formal education by providing training for youth and adults.
Support and involve rural youth in society and people with disabilities in cultural and educational activities.

INSP, Bucharest, Romania

The National Institute of Public Health is a public institution, subordinated to the Ministry of Health, created in 2009 by Governmental Decision 1414 through the reorganization of the former 5 regional institutes of public health.
It assures the national coordination of public health activities through national programmes, training and research activities for all the public health structures in the country. The institute elaborates strategic documents in its fields of competence. Traditionally, the National Institute of Public Health, no matter of name and structure, hosted the Chair of Public Health and Health Management and Environmental Health from the General Medicine Faculty, and later from the Faculty for Nurses and Midwives, within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Thus, the experts of the institute also participate in the education, training and life long learning process of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Galati (GDSACP) is a public institution with legal personality established subordinated to Galati County Council. It performs at county level all welfare measures in the field of the protection of children, single people, the elderly, disabled and any person in need. It provides support to promote children's rights and advocates reform to prevent the separation of children from their parents and special protection of child temporarily or permanently separated from parents.
GDSACP Galati was established by decision of Galati County Council, through the reorganization of the County Child Protection and Welfare Department.
